"In My Past Prepared Me For My Future, I share my personal journey through pain, trauma, disappointment, and healing. This book is my testimony—proof that no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve endured, your past does not have to define your future.
Through every chapter, I want you to know that healing is possible. I know what it feels like to be broken, confused, and searching for answers. I’ve experienced deep emotional wounds, rejection, and moments where I felt hopeless. But I also experienced the restoring power of God’s love, grace, and mercy.
This book reveals how God redeemed even my darkest seasons and turned them into something meaningful. What once felt unbearable became part of His greater purpose for my life. I learned that nothing is wasted when it is placed in His hands.
One of the greatest lessons I share is the power of forgiveness—toward others and toward myself. I discovered that unforgiveness kept me bound, but forgiveness set me free. Letting go was not easy, but it was necessary for my healing and growth.
I also want every reader to understand their true worth. For years, I struggled with low self-esteem and feeling unworthy of love. Through my walk with God, I learned that I am valuable, chosen, and created with purpose—and so are you.
My prayer is that as you read this book, you will see that your story matters. Your pain is not in vain. Your experiences can become your testimony and help someone else find hope.
Healing is a process, and growth takes time. There were moments when I stumbled, struggled, and questioned God—but He never left me. Every step brought me closer to wholeness.
Above all, I want you to leave this book encouraged, strengthened, and hopeful. I want you to know that no matter how difficult your past has been, God is still writing your story. There is more ahead for you. There is purpose in your pain. There is victory in your future.
My past prepared me for my future—and yours can too."
